We at Fireweed Fabrics are proud to share works created by our fabric enthusiasts. With our new website, we are going to introduce the artisans and craftspeople that use our fabrics and highlight their creative works. 

From the age of nine, Terra Shideler has had a passion for the arts – fabric arts. Originally from Independence Missouri, Terra moved to Fairbanks, Alaska in 1968 where her new lifestyle opened up many new creative avenues. Terra is the owner of Arctic Fibers, where she produces unique fabric art that she sells locally in Fairbanks. With her own creations, she is currently incorporating beads into her designs.
